First Computer | The history of the First Computer

First of all to know about first computer, who invented the first computer and many more?  We know a little bit about computer what is computer actually. Computer Is Basically An Electronic Machine And Man Made Machine And Follows A Man Given Order. Computer Is Wonderful Invention of Science Which I never thought would develop so much in the coming time.

There are many different classifications of computers, when was the first computer invented? The first computer was developed by Charles Babbage in 1822, does not look like what most would consider a computer today. Therefore, we provide a listing of each of the computer firsts, starting with the Difference Engine and leading up to the computers we use today.

In the book “The Yong Mans Gleanings” by Richard Braithwaite, the term “computer” was used for the first time in 1613. It originally referred to a person who carried out calculations or computations. The definition of a computer remained unchanged until the late 19th century, when the industrial revolution led to the development of mechanical machines specifically designed for calculations.

The first system name is Mark 1 computer. Its approximate period is from 1937 to 1944. Mark 1 computer is built by Howard A.Aiken of Harvard University in collaboration with IBM.

It was an electro-mechanical device ;it used over 3000 electrically actuated switches ; it was about  50 feet lon and 8 feet high ; it could perform addition ,subtraction ,multiplication ,division and table reference on numbers as large as 23 decimal digits ; it look about 0.3 second to add two numbers and 4.5 seconds to multiply two numbers.

The first company to specialize in computer production was the Electronic Controls Company, founded in 1949 by J. Presper Eckert and John Mauchly, the same individuals who contributed to the development of the ENIAC computer. The Electronic Controls Company was later rebranded as the Eckert-Mauchly Computer Corporation (EMCC) and produced several mainframe computers under the UNIVAC brand.

The UNIVAC 1101 or ERA 1101, delivered to the United States government in 1950, is recognized as the first computer that could store and execute a program directly from memory.

The first Computer is ENIAC (Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer) made history as the first computer in the world. Development of the computer was completed in 1945. In February 1946 the US government revealed to the public the existence of the secret computer which had been developed under the codename project the computer was ENAIC.A massive electronic digital computer begun in 1943 under the authority of the US Army the ENIAC was developed at the more school of electrical engineering at the University of Pennsylvania.

This massive machine filled a 20 by 40 foot room and weighed a staggering 30 tones. It used vacuum tube and switches to perform calculations and speeds that were unimaginable at the time despites its size and complexity the ENIAC was able to perform calculations much faster than any other machines of its times.

It was used primarily for military calculations during World War 2 and laid the foundations for modern computers. As we know them today, today’s computer and much smaller and more powerful than the ENAIC. But the basic principles how they work have remained largely unchanged since the 1940s.The ENIAC was true technological marvel that paved the way from the computers we use for everyday.

The first Computer ENIAC was developed by John Mauchly and John Eckert .It was the first large scale General Purpose Digital Electronic Computer

The first microcomputer Vietnamese-French engineer André Truong Trong Thi and Francois Gernelle developed the Micral computer in 1973. The first microcomputer, it was known for using the Intel 8008 processor and was the first commercially available computer that didn’t require assembly. It was initially sold at the price of $1,750.

Personal computer

The first personal computer (PC) .In 1975, Ed Roberts coined the term “personal computer” when he introduced the Altair 8800. Many consider the KENBAK-1 to be the first personal computer, which was first offered at $750 in 1971. The computer used switches for inputting data, and data was outputted by turning on and off lights.

The history of the first computer is a fascinating and complex story. From the early mechanical calculators of the 17th century to the modern electronic computers of today, the development of this technology has had a profound impact on society and changed the way we live and work. The first computers were massive and expensive; accessible only to governments and large corporations, but over time they have become smaller, faster, and more affordable, making them available to a wider range of people and businesses. As the field of computer science continues to evolve, it is likely that we will see even more impressive developments in the future.

What was the name of the first computer?

The first computer was referred to as the ENIAC (Electronic Numerical Integrator And Computer). It was developed in the United States during World War II and was designed to calculate artillery firing tables for the military

How did people use the first computer?

The first computer, called the ENIAC (Electronic Numerical Integrator And Computer), was developed in the United States in 1945. It was designed to calculate artillery firing tables for the military and was used to perform a variety of mathematical calculations at high speeds. The ENIAC was a massive machine, weighing over 27 tons and occupying over 1,800 square feet of space. It was also very expensive, costing over $500,000 to build (which would be equivalent to over $7 million today). Despite its size and cost, the ENIAC was a major technological milestone and paved the way for the development of modern computers.
